Cook Book Club

There are so many beautiful cook books, some very old, some not so old, some more obscure than others, historical, cultural, scientific, travel, with stories, with pictures, linked to literary figures .....

At the Cook Book club the aim is to get people together to share their favourite books, swap recipes, learn new dishes, chat about food, ingredients, markets, restaurants, experiences.....

Each month we pick a book, enjoy looking at it, eat some of the recipes from it, sometimes have a cookery demo from it, use it to stimulate ideas, hear stories and see where the conversations take us.

The club has endless opportunities and although it mostly takes place at The Ferry Project Cookery School at Octavia View in Wisbech it could on occasion popup elsewhere, for example if we are using a book on fruit we may decamp to an Orchard!

Each month this blog will show the book of the month and share some of the stories from the club. Pictures of what we ate and anything else of foodie interest!
